Helen Naylor has recently been appointed Tutor of Harp at Lincoln Minster School, bringing the total number of prestigious public schools in her care to 2.

Junior Harpz

Harpz - The Derbyshire Harp Ensemble - Junior Harpz

The inaugral rehearsal of Junior Harpz was held at Kirk Langley on 22nd April and was a resounding success. We had 8 Harpists under the age of 13 performing together.

The next rehearsal will be on June 17th 2pm at The Leeke Memorial Hall, Kirk Langley, at 2pm.
with a concert on 1st July at Town End Farm in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind (Junior Harpz has a blind member) 2pm along with the main HARPZ ensmble!

Harpz - The Derbsyhire Harp Ensemble

Harpz meets every Thursday evening at the Leeke Memorial Hall - Kirk Langley, Derbyshire @ 7pm.
New Members are always welcome.
Harpz will be performing an evening of Advent Carols at St Michael's Church Kirk Langley on 2nd December @ 7pm - Tickets £7.50 to include light seasonal refreshments.
There will also be an exhibition of harps from Clive Morley Harps Ltd

All of Helen-Elizabeth Naylor's students have the chance at various points during the year to study with David Watkins - world famous virtuoso harpist.
David Watkins needs little introduction, being well known for a varied career, his work includes a position with the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and that of principal harpist with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. He was professor of Harp at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and also at the Royal Northern College of Music. He is the author of The Complete Method for Harp as well as composer of PetiteSuite and many, many more pieces for harp. David has also had a very successful recording career with RCA and EMI. His lecture recitals are celebrated in many countries.
